Phase I – Design Development:
During this phase of the project, I will develop the preliminary arrangement of
the Foodservice Equipment Components based on your objectives, menu and
goals for this specific foodservice operation. While your project is in Phase I of
the design process, I will submit as many preliminary layouts as necessary for
you to be completely satisfied with the design. I will also assist in the
development of a schedule for the completion of the Contract Documents.
Phase II - Contract Documents:
During this phase of the project, I will document a complete set of Working
Drawings and Specifications. I will select Foodservice Equipment, prepare
an in-scale Foodservice Equipment Floor Plan, assign item numbers to each
piece of equipment and prepare a Foodservice Equipment Schedule indicating
all makes, models and required utility connections. I will develop Utility
Rough-In Location Plans indicating the approximate location of each utility
rough-in and connection for each piece of foodservice equipment. I will
develop a Special Conditions Plan indicating special building features for use by
the Architect. I will provide coordination assistance to the Architect and the
Consulting Engineers. I will also develop Exhaust Ventilation Requirements,
Equipment Elevation Drawings, Equipment Details and written Foodservice
Equipment Specifications (Section 11400) for the Contract Document Written
Specifications.
Phase III - Post-Contract Services:
During this phase of the project, I will provide advisory, checking and
inspection tasks. I will review for approval all Foodservice Equipment
Contractor submittals, provide on-site inspections if required, and generate lists
of deficiencies if any.
